An Update Regarding HCAI’s EOB / July 8, 2021

We have recently become aware of changes to the process for submitting an application to the Licence Appeal Tribunal - Automobile Accident Benefits Service. As a result, the application instructions appearing on HCAI’s Explanation of Benefits (EOB) are currently out of date. 

If your company uses HCAI’s EOB, you may wish to provide additional information to inform claimants about the application process. As a reminder, the final page of the form is available for insurers to include additional comments and allows for 20,000 characters of text.

Details about changes to HCAI’s EOB will be included in HCAI’s fall System Release 3.26 communications.
