HCAI Update – Release 3.24: November 16, 2020 / September 16, 2020
HCAI System Release 3.24 will go live as planned on November 16, 2020. This bulletin outlines the Release’s enhancements, many of which were developed to address insurer requests.
For insurers who are integrated with the Claim-Claimant Feed or All-Data Extract, please have your technical team review the integration information at the bottom of this bulletin.
- Making Attributes Easier to Understand
- New Download Report Roles
- Search for Users by First Name
- Quick Search - Now Even Quicker
- Insurer Signature Settings Update
Facilities may use attribute codes to indicate that services were delivered remotely. To understand what an attribute represents, you can now hover your mouse over the attribute code to view its description.
We’ve also made it easier to see attribute codes that have been applied to services within a session. When a facility includes a session code on an OCF-18 in Part 12, insurers can now see any attribute codes within the session, including IN (indirect) or SD (self-directed) indicating a service was delivered remotely.
For more information about attributes, please review HCAIinfo’s Coding page.
We’re giving administrators more control over user experience and privacy. Two new roles are available so you can determine which users are allowed to download claimant search results and document search results.
User Administrators can simply unassign the “Claimant Search Results” role to prevent a user from using the “Download Report” button after performing a claimant search, or unassign the “Document Search Results” role to prevent a user from using the “Download Report” button after performing a document search.
User Administrators requested the ability to search for users by first name only. We’ve made this possible on both the User Management tab and on the Teams – Browse Users tab.
At your request, we’ve made using the claims quick-search bar at the top of HCAI even more intuitive – now, you can perform the search by hitting the Enter key.
In Release 3.23, we introduced a new Insurer Signature Setting that allows insurers to choose what information displays in the insurer signature section of OCFs. Now, when a document is marked “cannot be matched” or “sent to wrong insurer”, the OCF’s insurer signature section will display blank rather than a user’s name.
